#Comments and Reactions

LumiFrame lets you and your family respond to photos and videos with quick emoji reactions or full comment threads. Both work inside shared albums and appear in the activity feed so everyone stays connected.

#Reactions

Reactions are a quick, one-tap response to any photo or video.

1. Open a photo or video in an album.
2. Tap the reaction button (a smiley face or emoji icon).
3. Pick an emoji from the picker.

Your reaction is added instantly and appears on the photo for all album members to see. Tap the same emoji again to remove it.

#Leaving a comment

1. Open a photo or video.
2. Tap the comment icon or the comment count below the photo.
3. The Comments sheet slides up. Tap the text field at the bottom.
4. Type your message.
5. Optionally, tap the GIF button to add an animated GIF via Giphy search instead.
6. Tap Send.

Your comment appears in the thread immediately. Other album members will see it and receive a notification (if they have comment notifications enabled).

#Replying to a comment

1. Tap on any existing comment to reveal the Reply option.
2. Tap Reply.
3. Type your reply and tap Send.

Replies are nested under the original comment so the conversation stays easy to follow.

#Deleting your own comment

1. Long-press your comment (or tap ⋯ next to it).
2. Tap Delete.
3. Confirm deletion.

You can only delete comments you wrote yourself. Album Admins can delete any comment in albums they manage.

#Comment notifications

By default, you receive a notification when someone comments on a photo you uploaded or replies to your comment. To adjust this:

1. Go to Settings → Notifications.
2. Toggle Comments & Replies on or off.

#Frequently asked questions

Can I comment on photos in any album? You can comment if you have at least Contributor access to the album. Viewer-only members can react but cannot post comments.

Can I edit a comment after sending it? Not currently. If you need to correct a comment, delete it and write a new one.

Are comments visible to everyone in the album? Yes, all members of the album can read all comments and replies.

Who can delete comments? You can delete your own comments. Album Admins can delete anyone's comments within albums they manage.
