User Profiles and People
How to view your own profile, explore other people's profiles, and find friends active in your shared albums.
#User Profiles and People
Every LumiFrame account has a profile, a public-facing page that shows who you are to people you share albums with. You can also view other members' profiles and quickly see who's been active in your shared albums.
#Your own profile
Your profile shows:
- Your display name and username (@handle)
- Your profile photo
- Albums you've shared with others
- Your recent media contributions
To view your profile as others see it, go to Settings → View Profile, or tap your own photo or name anywhere in the app.
To edit your profile details, see Your Profile and Account.
#Viewing someone else's profile
Whenever you see another user's name or avatar in LumiFrame, whether in a shared album, the activity feed, a comment thread, or a notification, you can tap it to open their profile.
Their profile shows:
- Albums: albums they manage that are shared with you
- Media: recent photos and videos they've contributed to shared albums
- Shared Albums: albums you both have access to
You won't see private content or albums you aren't a member of.
#The People bar on Activity
The Activity screen has a row of avatars at the top. This is the People bar. It shows the friends and family members who have been most active in your shared albums recently, ranked by their recent contribution count.
Tap any avatar in the People bar to:
- Open their profile
- Jump to their recent activity
- Filter the activity feed to show only their contributions
#Finding people to collaborate with
LumiFrame finds people to suggest based on shared albums you're already in. You'll see familiar faces in the People bar and in the Invite flow when adding people to a new album.
To invite a new person you haven't shared an album with before, enter their email address directly in the invite flow. See Sharing & Collaboration.
#Privacy
Other users can only see the parts of your profile that overlap with content you've already chosen to share with them. Your private albums, unshared media, and account details are never visible on your profile to anyone else.
To control what shared albums appear on your profile, manage access from within each album's Access & Sharing settings.
