#Guest Share Links

Elite feature: Creating guest share links requires an Elite plan.

A guest share link lets you share an album with anyone, whether family, friends, or event guests, without them needing a LumiFrame account. They open the link in any browser and can view the album's photos and videos straight away.

#Creating a share link

1. Open the album you want to share.
2. Tap ••• → Share Link (or Access & Sharing → Share Link).
3. Tap Create Link.
4. Copy the link or use the share sheet to send it directly.

The link is live immediately. Anyone with it can view the album.

#Setting a PIN

If you want to restrict access so only people you've told the PIN can open the link:

1. Go to Access & Sharing → Share Link.
2. Toggle Require PIN on.
3. Enter a 4–6 digit PIN.
4. Tap Save.

Recipients will be prompted for the PIN when they open the link. You can change or remove the PIN at any time without invalidating the link itself.

#What recipients can do

By default, a link gives view-only access. Recipients can:

• Browse all photos and videos in the album.
• View the album in a clean, full-screen web gallery.
• Download individual photos (if you allow it; see below).

They cannot add, edit, or delete photos. For collaborative upload access, see Album Events.

#Allowing or blocking downloads

1. Go to Access & Sharing → Share Link.
2. Toggle Allow Downloads on or off.

When downloads are off, photos can be viewed but not saved from the web link.

#Revoking a share link

Revoking the link immediately makes it stop working. Anyone who previously bookmarked it will see an error page.

1. Go to Access & Sharing → Share Link.
2. Tap Revoke Link and confirm.

You can create a new link at any time after revoking.

#Refreshing a link (new URL)

If you want to keep sharing but generate a fresh URL, for example after suspecting the old link was forwarded somewhere it shouldn't have been:

1. Revoke the existing link.
2. Create a new link.

The old URL stops working immediately, and you can distribute the new one.

#Frequently asked questions

Do recipients need to install LumiFrame? No. The share link opens in any web browser. No app or account needed.

Can I set an expiry date on the link? Not currently. Links stay active until you revoke them.

How many albums can I have active share links for at once? There's no limit. You can have active links on as many albums as you like.

Will I know how many people have opened the link? Frame analytics (Premium and Elite) shows view counts, but the share link doesn't currently show per-recipient tracking.

Can a recipient forward the link to someone else? Yes, unless you protect it with a PIN. If you use a PIN, they'd need to share the PIN too. Revoking the link will cut off all access regardless.
