What devices can I use as a LumiFrame display?
Any phone or tablet on iOS 13+ or Android 7+ can run as a display. You can also cast from your everyday phone to a living-room TV over Chromecast, Google TV, or AirPlay on Premium and Elite, so the TV itself becomes the frame when you are not watching something else.
Can I cast to my TV instead of dedicating a tablet?
Yes. On Premium and Elite, LumiFrame casts to Chromecast, Google TV, and Apple TV via AirPlay. That means you can turn a living-room TV into a frame in the evening without owning a second screen at all.
How is this different from a photo-editing app that adds a frame border?
Photo-frame border apps decorate a single exported image. LumiFrame is a live, remotely-managed slideshow of photos and video: it keeps a real display current with albums that update automatically, lets you control playback from another device, and supports multiple contributors, closer to a dedicated hardware frame’s app than to a one-off photo editor.
