Advanced Settings
Diagnostic tools, configuration export, and other power-user options tucked away in Advanced Settings.
#Advanced Settings
Advanced Settings is home to tools you won't need every day, but are useful when troubleshooting, resetting the app to a clean state, or getting help from support.
To get there: Settings → Advanced Settings.
#Tutorial Library
If you'd like to revisit any of the in-app tutorial walkthroughs:
- Go to Advanced Settings → Tutorial Library.
- Pick the tutorial you want to replay.
- The tutorial restarts from the beginning.
This is helpful if you skipped a tutorial during onboarding and want to go back.
#Send diagnostic logs
If something isn't working right and you're in contact with support, sending a diagnostic log gives us the information we need to investigate quickly.
- Go to Advanced Settings → Support Logs.
- Tap Export Logs.
- A log bundle is prepared (this takes a few seconds).
- Use the share sheet to send the file to support. Email it to [email protected] or paste it into your support ticket.
Logs contain app behaviour and error information only, with no photos, personal messages, or passwords ever included.
#Export app configuration
You can export your current app settings as a file. This is useful as a personal backup before doing a reset, or for reference if you're migrating to a new device.
- Go to Advanced Settings → Export Config.
- The config file downloads to your device.
#Reset to defaults
This resets all app settings, including appearance, slideshow preferences, notification options, and so on, back to their factory defaults. It does not delete your albums, photos, or account.
- Go to Advanced Settings → Reset to Defaults.
- Confirm. The app restarts with default settings.
If you want to start completely fresh (account included), use Settings → Account → Delete Account instead, which permanently removes everything.
#App version and device info
At the bottom of the Advanced Settings screen you'll find:
- App Version: the installed version of LumiFrame. Include this when contacting support.
- Biometric availability: whether Face ID, Touch ID, or fingerprint unlock is supported on your device.
#Verify cloud sync
If your photos seem out of sync between devices, use this to force a check:
- Go to Advanced Settings → Verify Cloud Sync.
- LumiFrame checks your account's cloud state and reports whether everything is up to date.
If issues are found, the tool will prompt you with next steps.
